This isn't about taking the sail out of MS. This is about educating the consumer. The consumer should know what to expect, that is all. For many people crippled audio and no HDMI is fine, considering the excellent price of the unit (if you already own an xbox360).

The campaign looks very good. The multiplayer videos from TGS however didn't look very intense, too much area perhaps with too few people playing. Just didn't seem like any dog fights were going on or anything.
Not sure I really care about the 6 axis usage but whatever. Gameplay looks great :)
All and all it's been a great week to be a gaming, lots of cool stuff for the PS3 and xbox360. Now we just need some more Wii info, Zelda will only go so far with me even if it's one of my favorite series ;)
It will sell millions on name recognition alone.

Would have been even better if they priced it so the combo would be less than PS3 playing HD movies.
Still I might get one even with the crippled audio as that is very good price. Could be a nice place holder until a fully feature HD-DVD player drops to a reasonable price.
no other console off-road racer looks even close to this in terms of fun and graphics, if it did I'd own it.

I expect that it will be near impossible to tell Xbox 360 and PS3 screenshots apart."
Aside from the $200 price difference, it really is $100 for a somewhat comparable console (less a next gen drive. Well maybe not as comparable as we all thought they'd be ;)
I also don't expect to see every 3rd party game in 1080p. Though God of War creator is working on one :)
